Soprano Ayşe Sezerman was born in Germany.
She received her high school diploma and Bachelor’s degrees in Istanbul where
she graduated from Uskudar American Academy and Bosphorus University Department
of Management and Finance respectively. She began her vocal studies in Istanbul
at Istanbul University State Conservatory. Upon her graduation from Istanbul
State Conservatory, Ms. Sezerman completed her master in Music at Indiana
University
Jacobs School of Music with the legendary soprano Virginia Zeani and bas
Nicolas Rossi Lemeni.
She has performed all over the world. Ms. Sezerman also acted as the assistant artistic director of the Istanbul Opera for ten years. she has been teaching voice at the Istanbul University State Conservatory over twenty years. Ms. Sezerman is also the recipient of the prestigious Ferhan Onat Vocal Prize by Semiha Berksoy Opera Foundation.
