My primary research interests comprise stochastic dynamical systems and their stability/ bifurcations, Hamiltonian systems and (classical) molecular dynamics, applications and mathematical modeling in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering and in particular the Social Sciences, as well as the simulation of PDEs with stochastic/ random forcing or controls.
Since June 2017 I am Chief Digital Officer (CDO) of RailMaint GmbH, a leading German enterprise offering a wide range of stationary and mobile maintenance and repair services for all rail vehicle needs. My focus here is on process optimization/ Operations Research, digitalization, big data analytics, and preventive maintenance.
