Habib Rab is Program Leader for the World Bank’s activities on macroeconomics, finance, and institutions in Turkey. He has 20 years’ experience working on macroeconomics and fiscal management issues in Asia and Africa. He has lending and analytical experience on issues related to economic growth, public finances, and structural reforms. Before joining the World Bank in 2008, he worked in the UK Government Economic Service and as an Overseas Development Institute Fellow. He has Bachelors and Masters degrees in Economics from University College London and the University of Oxford.
