He started to work for Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs in 1987, 1988-1990 worked as researcher at South Eastern Anatolia Research Institute. He worked as a rice breeder and agronomist at Trakya Agricultural Research Institute between 1990-2000. He worked as Director of Trakya Agricultural Research Institute 2000-2013. During my work at Trakya Research Institute. I registered more than 30 rice varieties as a project leader or project researcher. Nearly 100 % percent of rice varieties growing in Turkey are these registered varieties.  Working as a Director, researches on plant breeding, agronomy, quality, pest management and economy in rice, wheat, barley, oats, canola, safflower, flax, sunflower, soybean, forage crops were carried out at Trakya Agricultural Research Institute. Institute produced all foundation seeds of Turkey for rice. Since 2013, He has been working for Trakya University as Assist. Prof. Dr. and also working as General Director of small R&D company located at University Technopark.
