Lecturer, Özlem YALÇINKAYA graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Science and Literature, Department of Information and Document Management in 2007. She completed her master's degree at Marmara University, Institute of Turkic Studies, Department of Information and Document Management. After graduation, she worked as an information specialist and manager in various institutions. Since 2012, she has been working in academic and administrative positions at Bezmialem Vakıf University. Bezmialem started her career as a specialist at Vakıf University Library and Documentation Directorate and completed her duty as a library manager between 2014-2019. As of 2020, she is still working as a library director (head of department) at the same university. As of 2016, she was appointed to the Faculty of Health Services Vocational School Medical Documentation and Secretariat Program as a lecturer, and as of 2018, she has been working as the program coordinator (head of the department). Although she has many national and international publications, she has taken academic and administrative duties in various national and international organizations. She is a member of ANKOS, ÜNAK and ÜNAK Medicine and Health Sciences Platform. She is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Information Management, which is a national refereed journal. Yalçınkaya served as the head of the symposium of the 1st Health Information and Document Management Symposium hosted by Bezmialem Vakıf University in 2018, and as a team member in the scientific activity team of the 4th E-Beyas Symposium in 2019. Between 2018-2020, she worked as a Project Information and Documentation Specialist in the “Bezmialem Valide Sultan Cultural Heritage” project supported by the Istanbul Development Agency (İSTKA). She is a member of the science committee at the EAHIL Virtual Workshop 2021, which will be hosted by Marmara University in 2021. She is married with 1 daughter.
