Aytaj Rzaguliyeva was born in Baku, Azerbaijan. 

She was graduated from P.I. Tschaikowsky Moscow Conservatoire with the degrees of concert pianist, pedagogy, chamber music and concertmaster. After being an educator for a year in Azerbaijan State Pedagogy University, she did her master's degree in chamber music and musicology at the Moscow Conservatoire successfully. She studied with L.L. Filatova, Prof. F. Bedelbeyli, C.M. Qarayev, Prof. P.V. Messner and had concerts in Azerbaijan, Russia, Portugal and Turkey. Currently she continues teaching piano and musicology lessons at the Marmara University, organizes concerts, seminars and masterclasses.
